 For Reading today i did a Wonderopolis the Wonderpilos i did today was "What is a Homonym". I watched this Video about Homonyms and what i learned is that an Homonym is two words that is that same sound but different writing. Mele - Green Ghana Current Events.

 Today for Reading we did another Current events. This current event is about this small country  near the equator. I did an activity the activity was about  looking at the cules and trying to find out the word and then i spelled a word out. I did some writing also about Green Ghana and learnt some new words to.

The main people  in this news article i read is the African people and the UK conley.The key event from the news article was Green Ghana. The phrase Green Ghana means  “Green Warrior King''. This event took place in Green Ghana which is the smallest country near the equator. This event happened on the 17th of June.

Today for reading, Twp 4 did current events. I read this article called "See Through Wings", this article was so good. I did some questions an Activity and  many more. Here are my Activities

In this  News Article I read that the main  group of people is a group  of  researchers from American University The key event from the news article is how the researchers find or look for butterflies with see through wings. This  event took place in South America ,Mexico or Columbia. This amazing event happened on the 1st of July.

This news article is about a group of researchers that works at a University in America that was reseahering butterflies and Moths. They wanted to see  what made wings and wanted to  see if there was something invisible.

Mele - Prototec Maths.

Today i did prototec and this Week i got 56% and Last Week i got 46%. I am very proud of myself and how i progressed in maths, What i did differently was that i was calm and was paying attention to the questions and if i didn't know then i would write it on paper and try and figure it out.Next time i will try and get a higher scoring. Mele- Tahuna Torea Trip

Yesterday on the 10th of May TWP 4&6 went to Tahuna Torea Park and discovered the different Native Trees and plants, and how the Mangroves can survive the mud. We all had a fun time there, we search and discovered the areas of the Bush walk , Sand Dune and Mangroves. I really liked  how we wrote down every Native trees we saw and felt it,like if it was rough or soft. 

My favorite part about the trip was that we learnt more about trees and nature,and it can help me because we have been learning about Plants. Here is my Activities.

  

Mele - Arapū Māori, the Māori alphabet

 Today in Māori we have reflected on yesterday's activity and remembered the letters in the Maori Alphabet, and the Digarhps, Vowels and Consonants. We also played this game called Memorised. The game is about how your test your knowledge on Māori and other cultures and try remember the words,Spelling and meaning of them like, Daughter of Daughters Tamahine (Sorry for the macaron).

My Meditation Place

In my mindfulness place I can hear bird’s talking in their language and laugh  at each other, and animals talking and being happy together. My happy place is a forest. I can hear animals that are with their family there like their brother, sisters Mum and Dad. I can hear  people loving nature, and having  nice and peaceful conversations about these animals like how they look and live and where they came from. I hear a Tui that is singing his song like tweet tweet  to all his friends and his friends are loving it, they are joining it just very nice to hear. I can hear a never by river and that the water is slapping together and the people that are singing to the birds., I can hear the birds and the other animals eating their dinner. I can hear my dad snoring in his sleep. I can hear an owl flying into the tree’s. I can hear that fire crackling and heating me and keeping me nice and toasty. I can hear me waking up to the beautiful  and lush sun that is very bright and joyful. I can hear the car because we are going to go back home. I can hear cow mooing and the sheep playing with each other. I can hear that we had stopped. I can see my home sweet home. This Is My Happy Place. Thank you for reading . By Mele.

How Were Rubber Bands Invented?

Today my class and i have read an story about  How many rubber bands were invented, and did you know, vulcanization mean it means that it is treated with heat and sulfur, did you know that rubber bands have usese  there is one that can hold you hair back, and it could hold broking things. Emily's Missing Password

Who found Emily’s password, it was Mia .

What doser posing as Emily mean. It will be not fun 

because everyone is bullying here but it wasn't her.

The chaos that Mia had made was that she told her friend that she 

Didn’t want to be friends with them any more and then her friends got mad
because they were friends since they started.

Why could Mia pretend to be Emily. Because she wanted to mess and have fun
But then Backed fired.

The author wanted you to learn is that when you bully then you will not get anywhere
and you will not achieve goals in you life, 

When you do not bully then you will achieve goals in your life, and you will have an
amazing life and live long.

This story was set in ohio.

I was going to go mess with my brother and i came behind  him and i pussed him and
he got hurt

 i felt sad and sorry and then I made it up to him.

 The story was about when Mia came and saw Emily's password for her computer.
Emily came back and sawn that it was not there anymore, and she freaked out but then
she went back to school and there was chaos and she said what was going on and then her
friends came up there and said, ``I don’t want to be friends with you. She felt sad and
one week later she moved to another school and then Maya and emily's friend meet up ao
the park and Mia told them what really happened and them Emily jumped out o the terr
and there were all friends again.

All the Muscles on our Body

Today we did an activity on muscles, and and the activity was that you take a picture ,and you and then you name the muscle and i have name 13 muscles around our body. The hardest thing to do is name each one because i get mixed up from it and the easy thing is that i knew which muscle is in the front and the back so here it is. Uncle Paton’s special power is when, something is wrong he can tell or he knows when, somethings curious. Also he can avoid lights hitting him and that is very cool.

The blue cape represent and it means he playing instrument and  he was a musician in Bloor’s Academy and he’s dad was a musician to so they have something in common.

Mr. Ominous went  visit charlie house because there was rat’s in the pantree and he had to kill that.
