 Today Religious Education ( RE) we were talking about The Liturgical year. Before that we had an activity that had sentences that were cut and we had to math them up with the other half . After that we made google drawing explaining  what advent means with pictures and words . Here is my activity below .   

Rapid Recount on the Liturgical Year.

WALT: Recognise that the Advent reading from Isaiah helps people hope for the Messiah and remind them to prepare for his coming.

1. The penitential or preparation seasons of the Liturgical year are Advent and Lent.

2. The Liturgical years begin each on The first day of Advent.

3. The most important feast in the Liturgical Year is Easter, the day of Jesus Christ'

4. Resurrection.

5.   The colour you would see featuring in church decorations during Ordinary time is Green,

6. the colour of hope.

7. In the homily, the hymns and the Scripture readings for Advent, the theme is Green, the

8. colour of Hope.

9. The Sunday scripture readings are set out in a three year cycle - Years A,B,C

10. The Liturgical cycle of the Catholic Church is shared with people in the liturgical

11. celebrations in Church Communities.

12. The Season of Lent begins on The first Sunday of Advent.

13. Ordinary time lasts for 34 weeks is Ash Wednesday and lasts 6 ending on Holy Saturday,

14. The Saturday before Easter.

15. The Liturgical feasts and seasons are celebrated by repentance, fasting, prayer, and giving

16. to the poor.

Niue Language Week

Today my class and I have done and activity this activity is about cook island language week.  I have done this activity with a panther. We have done a fact file about cook island we have work hard and we have put a lot of work and we have fun with it to. We have done and other activity this other activity is about greeting others like greeting one person and greeting more than three and  greeting two person's. Did you know that coconut  can be used in different ways like coconut shells and make boats,jugs,jar . Here is my activity.

Solar Energy.

The Earth gets the solar energy from the sun and
in Latin they call the sun slo. Solar energy tables
from the sun which is the rays. Some are light
rays that we  all see, and  some are rays not
like x rays we can’t see like x rays. The sun is
like a big ball of gas and the solar energy and some
of the energy comes into the atmosphere and some
bounce off an icloud and some might go down, left,
and also right, most of the solar energy goes back into
space. The rays reflect on the border of the solar
energy. If we didn’t have the sun it would be so cold
and we will die, the earth absorbs the energy which
makes it heat when it comes back out. This heat makes
the air warm around us, a small part of the energy.
