Mele - Lesson 1 - Oropūare and Orokati, Vowels and Consonants.

Today in Māori TWP 4 ( Te Wairua Pakiki 4) and I have, remember the sounds of the letters of the Māori alphabet (arapū), and the letter combinations and stress patterns.We recognise and understand the simple, familiar spoken words,phased and sentences. Oropūare and Orokati,is made up with eight consonants,and five vowels and two digraphs. Digraphs is two sounds that merge together. It is really important for example Keke is Cake but kēkē is an armpit.  

TWP 4 and I have done an activity about Oropūare and Orokati,Digraphs, and the Consonants.I really had fun doing my first activity for the term. Here is a Song Link. Here is my Activity
