 Today i got 51% again on my Prototec, I think that i was tired from yesterday. I think i just need to work on my Grouping with 100 and my Subtraction. But next time i will try harder and get a better soccer. Here is my Activity.

Mele- Who Invented Fried Chicken - Wonderopolis

Today I did another Wonderopolis about how fried Chicken was Made and who made the first repcie. I learnt something new today. I found out that Hannah Glasse was the first person to make a recipe for fried chicken i was so Amazed when i found out. Here is a video and Artical link.Video.Article. I really liked this activity because i love fried chicken, and also i learnt something new. I also did an test and i nailed it. Check out Wonderopolis.

Mele - Camouflage Wonderopolis

 Today i started off with an wonderopolis and learned about Camouflage and what it is used for like how the soldiers wear a type of clothing that blends in with the bush or any wear they went. Mele - World's Oceans Day.

 Today  TWP 4 are learning to analyse media with an open eye but critical eye to inform our own opinions. We did an article called World's Oceans Day and did it as an whole class we had too find 3 questions and write an glossary,Here is my questions

1. The shallowest areas of the oceans  are known as what,

2.How many Percentages are Freshwater Saltwater covers roughly 70% of the Earth’s surface. It is divided into what.
3. Glossary   Essential - Key part of story. replenished - to fill something  Sustainably -  A way to continue at a rate or level,

4.World Oceans Day has a  Theme It changes each year. The theme for 2021 is what,

5. The Atlantic bluefin tuna is an example, adults can grow to a length of what and how many meters,

6.The Mariana Trench is the deepest known part of the world’s oceans. It is in the western Pacific.The trenches deepest part is called what.

Mele - Prototec Maths.

Today i did prototec and this Week i got 56% and Last Week i got 46%. I am very proud of myself and how i progressed in maths, What i did differently was that i was calm and was paying attention to the questions and if i didn't know then i would write it on paper and try and figure it out.Next time i will try and get a higher scoring. Today in Mth we did a starter called Prototec and I had to compare it from my last week result for the Starter.What i have done to improve more in my Prototec it that i took my time and figured the equations out. Mele - Tipou Pronouns

 Today for Maori we are learning about Tūpou Maori (Maori Pronouns). This was Easy and kinda hard because all of this was new i learnt new words and i know some of those words, My Favourite  word that i learnt was Tatou,Tatou meaning We you and I. Mele - Sacred Heart of Jesus.

 Last Week Friday Saint Pius X School had Mass to Celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I was given a reading for the mass and when i went up i was excited and nervous at the same time, but i was so proud of myself and how i went up there with confidence and speaked. The Meaning of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is how Jesus heart represent divided love for us and shows us humanity, Some quotes that Father Felise said that catch me was "not be afraid, i will return form my father and bring you to heaven" and the second quote is  "You are members of my Heart and i am ready to be bless you".  Here is a Google Draw i have made. 



Mele - Book Review.

 This week I have been Reading this book called "Act", this book is about this girl Olive and she was so excited about this trip. But then she found out that the school was keeping people back from the trip so she decided  to Act, and started running to be president. I did this activity about my book and what i like about, and i hope you are going to like this and one you might even get a chance to read about it to.

 Today in Inquiry we have study and learned about all the  Native plants used for medical problems.Here are some ways you can  use the ointments. Koromiko-Chew the leaves.Harakeke (Flax) - Use it like how you use aid healing.Pohutukawa - Take out the nectar in the flowers.Puriri - gargled the leaves. Kawakawa - Chew the leaves. Here is my Activity.

Deeper Thinking Ponga Tree - By Mele,Arvay and Achilles

For a few weeks we have been learning about the native trees of New Zealand. Today we completed our project of deeper thinking of our own tree which is the Ponga Tree. Here is our activity.

This Week in Reading we have been learning how seed can not be recognised easily. Like a peas, peas are there own seed they are hidden in  a pod. I read a story called " Hidden Seeds" and this a was about sead that come in all different shape and sizes and are hidden, for example seeds of an apple is hidden it its core, i made an graffiti page about the Pohutukawa seeds and where they can be found.
