Mele - Prototec - Math Starters .

 Today's Math Starter is Prototec, i did stage 7 because i wanted to challenge myself and i did, one thing that i notice is that my goals were to get my Sqs Roots and Factors and i did it i got them, i was so proud of myself for getting that. Today's goal is Fractions and Percentages i just don't know
but i will get someday. Here is my Sheet 

 

Mele - A Sweet Business.

Today TWP 4 and I are reading a book called A Sweet Business, this book is about when Matin a beehive man came and visited Te Aro school because he thought that it will be a good idea to give them beehives of their own,The students also talked about hives. Like Langstroth, they were keen to try a top-bar hive. After a few harvests, they would be able to compare the results. “It’s a good idea,” said Justin. “More honey means more income, but buying a second hive will be a big expense.The big question is: Would the students receive enough money in their first year to cover essential costs and repay their loan from the school? There were two important things to consider. How much honey would the bees produce, and how much koha might people give?. Martin said "to expect a harvest of around 40 kilograms. Together with Justin, the students did the maths. If parents gave five dollars for a 250-gram jar of honey, this would be twenty dollars per kilogram – eight hundred dollars in total. That was the story, i think that this story is about motivation and how they will never ever give up. Check out my Activity below

Mele Responsibility Mat.

 Today In Religious Education  (RE) TWP 4 and I has made Responsibility Mats. These Cats are when we set goals and we work on them for the whole of this year, i think that was hard was that we had to colour and colour for weeks and then we finished it . I really enjoyed doing the activity with TWP 4. Something that i have learnt is that Responsibility is one  our 6 pillars of Saint Pius Faith, Here is My Responsibility Mat.        

Mele - Pools of Fun.

Today i have written about my holiday and how i had so much fun. This was a blast to write it and i hope that i could write an another story just like this. Here is my Writing

On Monday 6 the 2 / 2/2020 it was a sunny day  and hot day, my sister sia and her friend cara decided to go to the panmure pools  so i invited my cousin and my brothers, there names are Thomas , Huti and Sateki. We went to pack clothes and snacks and our clothes for after our swim, when we were finished packing  we were off. When we got there  we waited in line to get our wristbands, for the slide and inflatable. We went to the outside pool. We found a nice place to set up, and we jumped into the freezing cold pool.  

The first fun thing we did was  play 4 rounds of volleyball. The teams were Thomas, Sateki and Huti vs. Sia, Cara and me. The first round winners were the boys team. The second round winners were the girls. Then we had a tie. It was all up to this final round the girls team served and then the boys hit it back and Sia  jumped and did a strike and the girls team won. The second most enjoyable  thing we did was go down the silde, the slide big blue and fun  first we had to walk up the big walk up thing we got to the tap and me and my sister sia went  at the same time and cara came along to. After that we had so much fun that we were so hungry we went and ate chips and cookies and listened to music. 

After that we went for an litel swim and then we went to the showers and showed and then we got into our change of clothes and then we went off. We got back home an we went straight to sleep. The End.

Today is the beginning of Lent, this morning TWP 4 and I have been discussing what is lent and Ash Wednesday. Lent is about reflecting and turning back to God.
